Desde Oakland el descacharrante directo de Clorox Girls, trío de punk del que se facturaba a finales de los 70 en la Bay Area, piensa en Gears o en Red Cross (los pre-Redd Kross) y estarás cerca. Vendrán con su LP bajo el brazo publicado por BYO ( youth brigade, briefs… ) y con la formación nueva ya completamente asentada después de una primera toma de contacto en su gira de enero.

The Feelers facturaron sin duda uno de los discos del 2005 , lo que fue el debut de estos fieras de Columbus (USA) en LP, ya que anteriormente habían publicado un single “Fuhre New Miniskirt” autoeditado en su propio sello Death By Noise y del que tan solo vieron la luz 300 copias que volaron enseguida gracias a las buenas críticas recibidas y a los fans que ha ido consiguiendo la banda; este single fue reeditado por el sello de Memphis Contaminated Records.
En las filas de esta banda está Sean Sensation bajista de los Reatards, así que ya saben en que onda se mueven estos jefazos: Sucios, directos, rápidos, los adorarás si te gustan los Oblivians, Daylight Lovers, Catholic Boys, Kajun SS, Tokyo Electron, Stitches, Functional Blackouts, Registrators. All I’m saying is that you only have half the story if you think Lars Finberg is at the forefront of the XYZ (as in please eXamine Your Zipper) Generation’s future-sounding garage punk art-junk. It’s true that, as the head cheese of the Intelligence, “that one guy” in the Dipers, and the beat-keeper in the A Frames, he makes noises that sound like tomorrow–and the day after tomorrow, and the day after that. Nobody is arguing with you there, but Finberg wants his tomorrows to shine and bounce and pop even as they crackle and hum. This is the guy, after all, who bought a Britney Spears LP at Amoeba Records while on tour through San Francisco. Seriously. Clutched the damn thing to his skinny little chest all the way across the country, brought it back to Seattle with him, and then played it—repeatedly—when he got home. Loves the obscure underbelly of the white hot avant-garde, this one, but loves his damn TV dinners and fruity pop culture, too.

First time i heard Le Jonathan Reilly demo i was shocked to death. Where do these guys come from? How can they make such GREAT music? How is that nobody knows? Problem? solution!
